Our advice
- Be careful with any page that calls itself the official Mechanic Legends wiki. The game page shows no Discord, Trello, X or YouTube links, so official news comes from the Roblox game page and the Wrench Work group.
- When a term here links to a full guide, read the guide before you spend Cash. A one-line definition cannot cover the exceptions, like scrapped parts that will not polish back.
Mechanic Legends Glossary and FAQ, step by step
-
Step 1: find the term in the A to Z list on this page. Illustration by MechanicLegends.org Find the term in the A to Z list
Scroll to the term in the A to Z list below. Each entry is one or two plain sentences on what the term means in Mechanic Legends, the Wrench Work game.
-
Step 2: check whether the entry is Confirmed or Reported before you rely on it. Illustration by MechanicLegends.org Check whether it is Confirmed or Reported
Confirmed means the Roblox game page says it or two separate player channels agree. Reported means only one player source says it so far, so treat it with care.
-
Step 3: many terms are labels you can see in the game, such as on the inspection panel. Illustration by MechanicLegends.org Match it to what the game shows
Many terms are labels on the inspection panel, such as condition, damaged parts, estimated repairs and market value. You can check each of them yourself by keeping E pressed on a car.
-
Step 4: follow the link in an entry to the guide that covers the topic in full. Illustration by MechanicLegends.org Follow the link to the full guide
Most entries link to the guide that covers the topic in full, such as the parts guide, the map guide or the auction garages guide.
Where people get stuck
You follow a wiki or code list for the wrong game
The older Mechanic Legends by Mechanic Devs is a separate game. Check that a page is about the Wrench Work game before you trust its terms or codes.
You read a single player report as a rule
Reported entries come from one player source. Prices like the paint stripping cost differ between videos, so check the number in the game first.
Is there a Mechanic Legends wiki?
We could not find an official wiki for Mechanic Legends. As of October 30, 2026, the only official channels are the Roblox game page and the Wrench Work group, and the game page shows no Discord, Trello, X or YouTube links. This page is not a wiki. It is our glossary and FAQ: short, plain definitions of the words you will see in the game and in player videos, each with a link to the guide that covers it.
It covers Mechanic Legends [BETA] by Wrench Work. An older Roblox game by Mechanic Devs uses the same name, and its terms and codes do not apply here. New to the game? Start with our Mechanic Legends guide.
Mechanic Legends terms, A to Z
Auction garage
A garage you open at the auction house that gives a random car, from bad to very rare. It costs 65K in-game Cash. See Mechanic Legends auction garages.
BETA
Part of the game’s name on Roblox, Mechanic Legends [BETA]. The game is still in development, so prices and features can change. The game page lists the last update as October 29, 2026.
Cash
The in-game money. In normal play it comes from customer jobs and car sales. The Roblox store also sells Cash for Robux, from 26,000 Cash for 60 Robux up to 1,330,000 Cash for 2,300 Robux. See Mechanic Legends Robux prices and how to make money in Mechanic Legends.
Condition
One of the readings on a car’s inspection panel, next to the damaged parts, repairs, market value and asking price. No source we have explains how it is worked out.
Confirmed
Our tag for a fact that the Roblox game page states, or that two separate player channels show. You can treat a Confirmed entry as how the game worked as of the date on the page.
Customer job
A job to repair someone else’s car for a set payment. Jobs with more tasks pay more but are harder. One creator notes the customer brings the car to you, so you do not need to buy one first. See Mechanic Legends customer jobs.
Damaged parts
The list of broken or worn parts on a car. You see it on the inspection panel before you buy, and in your garage by holding the wrench under the open hood. See the Mechanic Legends parts guide.
Dealership
The shop that sells brand-new cars to drive. One creator reads its sign as Premium Autos. See how to get better cars in Mechanic Legends.
ECU tune
A tuning upgrade for the engine. One creator showed stage one and stage two ECU tunes, with the stage one tune on one car costing 13K. In a real car, the ECU is the computer that controls the engine.
Engine light
A warning light for engine trouble. One player guide saw it go off once the damaged parts were fixed.
Estimated repairs
A line on a junkyard car’s inspection panel that shows the repairs the car needs. Read it with the damaged parts list before you buy.
Gas station
Where you fill up. Cars use fuel, so you need to stop here now and then. See the Mechanic Legends map.
GPS
A line drawn on the road that shows the route to places like the paint shop and the dealer.
Junk Mechanics
A different Roblox car repair game, [LARP] Junk Mechanics by the Oil Leak group. It is not Mechanic Legends. See Mechanic Legends vs Junk Mechanics.
Junkyard
Where you buy damaged cars to repair. Hold E on a car to read its inspection panel first. One player guide showed the stock refreshing on a timer, and the Roblox store sells a Junkyard Refresh for 95 Robux.
Lift
The car lift in your garage. Drive the car onto it, raise it and open the hood to start a repair. One player guide raises it by pressing E. See Mechanic Legends controls.
Limp mode
An engine warning players have seen on damaged cars. One player guide drove a car in limp engine mode until the engine was repaired. In a real car, limp mode is when the engine computer cuts power to protect a damaged engine.
Los Archilis
The name of the Mechanic Legends map, according to the game page. See the Mechanic Legends map.
Market value
A figure on the inspection panel, shown next to the asking price. Player guides compare the two: a car whose market value is well above its price and that needs only a couple of parts can sell for much more than it cost. No source we have says whether the used car dealer pays exactly the market value.
Paint booth
The part of the paint shop where a stripped car gets its new color, any one you like. One creator shows you can watch the car being painted and adjust the brightness. See Mechanic Legends paint and polish.
Part polisher
The machine that polishes a rusty or worn part back to 100%, after the ultrasonic cleaner.
Parts store
The shop that sells replacement parts, different engines and tuning modifications. One player guide calls it Parts Direct. Parts you order arrive by delivery truck at your garage.
Reported
Our tag for a fact that only one player source shows so far. A Reported entry may be wrong or out of date, and we move it to Confirmed when a second source agrees.
Scrapped part
A part that cleaning and polishing cannot save. One player guide says a scrapped part cannot be polished back, so you order a new one from the parts store. See the Mechanic Legends parts guide.
Starter car
The free car you pick from a few options after the tutorial. It will not start at first because the wiring harness is missing, and the game gives you cash to order a new one.
Stripping
Removing a car’s paint at the paint shop to get rid of rust, before you repaint it. It costs money; one creator paid 700 on one car and another saw 600 on a different car.
Ultrasonic cleaner
The machine that cleans rusty or worn parts. You use it before the part polisher.
Used car dealer
The NPC buyer for cars you have fixed, who quotes a price on each one. Keeping the car is always an alternative to selling.
Wiring harness
The bundle of wires that a car needs to start. A missing harness stops the car from starting, and worn wiring can be cleaned back up. In a real car, the wiring harness carries power and signals between the battery, the sensors and the engine.
Wrench Work
The Roblox group that made Mechanic Legends. Its owner account, Wildes, is verified, but the group itself has no verified badge. Wrench Work created the game on April 3, 2026.
Codes
As of October 30, 2026, neither the Roblox game page nor the Wrench Work group lists any code for this game. Our Mechanic Legends codes page tracks that every day.
