Our advice

  • Put your first cash into a junkyard car that needs only one or two parts, not into extras for the starter car. A short parts list is the easiest way to learn the repair loop, and it is where the guides we read find the best margin.
  • Check the developer name before you follow any guide or code list. If it does not say Wrench Work, it is probably about the 2022 game with the same name, and its tips may not apply here.

Mechanic Legends Guide and Codes, step by step

  1. A toy-brick style work order on a clipboard with a car key clipped to it
Step 1: the starter car is free, but it needs a new wiring harness before it will start. Illustration by MechanicLegends.org

Finish the tutorial and fix the free starter car

After the tutorial, pick a free starter car from the few on offer. It will not start at first because the wiring harness is missing, and the game gives you cash to order a new one. Drive onto the lift in your garage, raise it, open the hood and hold the wrench to see which parts are damaged. If the battery is low, take it out, charge it on the battery charger and put it back.

  2. A toy-brick style orange work jacket next to a wrapped gift box
Step 2: one player guide says joining the Wrench Work group gives 5,000 for free. Illustration by MechanicLegends.org

    Join the Wrench Work group

Join Wrench Work, the Roblox group that makes the game. One player guide says joining gives 5,000 for free. No official page confirms the reward yet, but joining costs nothing.

  3. A small toy-brick style car with a price tag and a stack of gold coins
Step 3: compare market value, price and damaged parts before you buy a junkyard car. Illustration by MechanicLegends.org

Pick a junkyard car by its margin

At the junkyard, hold E on a car to see its damaged parts, condition, estimated repairs and market value before you buy. Compare the market value with the price and count the damaged parts. A car that needs only a couple of parts can sell for much more than it cost. One player guide showed the stock refreshing on a timer, with about 12 minutes to the next refresh.

  4. A toy-brick style car engine with a wrench lying beside it
Step 4: clean and polish worn parts, and buy new ones only when a part is scrapped. Illustration by MechanicLegends.org

Clean and polish parts before you buy new ones

Rusty or worn parts can go through the ultrasonic cleaner and the part polisher to get back to 100%, so you do not have to replace them. One player guide says a scrapped part cannot be polished back. Only those need a new part from the parts store.

  5. A toy-brick style paint spray gun next to a can of paint
Step 5: strip the paint to remove rust, repaint the car, then sell it or keep it. Illustration by MechanicLegends.org

Strip, paint, then sell or keep the car

At the paint shop, strip the paint first to remove rust. Stripping costs money. Once the rust is gone, the paint booth leaves the color entirely up to you. After that, sell the car to the used car dealer, who offers a price for it, or keep it and drive it yourself.

Where people get stuck

The starter car will not start

This is expected. The wiring harness is missing at first. Use the cash the game gives you to order a new harness, then put it in and try the engine again.

A scrapped part will not polish back

One player guide says scrapped parts cannot be polished back. Order a new one from the parts store, and keep the cleaner and polisher for parts that are only rusty or worn.

The junkyard car needs too many parts

Hold E on the car before you buy and read the damaged parts and estimated repairs. Skip cars with a long parts list and a small gap between the price and the market value.

What is Mechanic Legends?

Mechanic Legends [BETA] is a Roblox vehicle sim made by Wrench Work, a Roblox group owned by the verified account Wildes. Wrench Work created the game on April 3, 2026. As of the October 29, 2026 update, it is still in BETA, so prices and features can change.

The game page sums up the loop like this: you take customer jobs, repair and modify cars, and drive them until they need repairs again. Beyond the repair work, the page also mentions hunting down rare cars for your collection and cruising around Los Archilis, the game’s map, with friends. Each server holds 12 players.

Most of the work happens in your garage. You drive a car onto the lift, raise it, open the hood and hold the wrench to see which parts are damaged. Each damaged part then comes out of the car, gets fixed and goes back in.

Which Mechanic Legends is this?

Two Roblox games use the name Mechanic Legends:

  • Mechanic Legends [BETA] by Wrench Work. This is the game this site covers. It was created on April 3, 2026.
  • Mechanic Legends by Mechanic Devs. This is an older, separate game. It was created on April 2, 2022, and first came out as Mecánica Argentina.

Any code list or guide posted before April 3, 2026 is about the older game, because the Wrench Work game did not exist yet. To check which game you have open, look at the developer name under the title on Roblox: ours says Wrench Work and has [BETA] in the name. Our Mechanic Legends codes page lists only codes for the Wrench Work game, and as of October 30, 2026 there are none.

Two ways to earn money

Customer jobs. You accept a job to repair someone else’s car for a set payment. Jobs with more tasks pay more but are harder. One player guide took a job to fix the intake manifold and wiring that paid $1,900.

Flipping cars. You buy a damaged car at the junkyard, repair it, paint it and sell it to the used car dealer. Player guides advise picking a car that needs only a couple of parts and has a market value well above its price. One player guide sold a repaired junkyard car for $10,700, about $6,700 more than it cost.

Both payouts come from a single player video, so treat them as examples, not fixed rates. Our guide on how to make money in Mechanic Legends covers both methods, the group reward and the mistakes that waste cash.

Where to go in the city

A GPS line on the road guides you to each place. These are the stops that player guides show, as of the October 29, 2026 update:

  • Your garage. The lift, the battery charger, the ultrasonic cleaner and the part polisher are here. Cleaning and polishing bring rusty or worn parts back to 100%.
  • The junkyard. It sells damaged project cars. Hold E on a car to see its damaged parts, condition, estimated repairs and market value. One player guide showed the stock refreshing on a timer.
  • The parts store. It sells replacement parts, different engines and tuning modifications. One player guide calls it Parts Direct and says a teleporter takes you there. One creator found that not every part fits every engine.
  • The paint shop. Strip the paint to remove rust, which costs money, then drive into the paint booth and pick any color.
  • The used car dealer. This NPC offers a price for your repaired car.
  • The dealership. It sells brand-new cars to drive.
  • The auction house. You can open a garage here that gives a random car, from bad to very rare. One creator saw a garage priced at 65K in-game cash or 79 Robux.
  • The gas station. Cars use fuel, and one player guide fills up here when the tank runs low.
