Our advice
- We would read the full task list before you take a bigger job. A five-task job pays more, but it also means more parts to take out, clean, polish or replace before the customer pays you.
- We would hold off on x2 Job Earnings until you know your own pace. With only two reported payouts, $1,900 and 5K, nobody can say yet what an average job pays.
Mechanic Legends Customer Jobs, step by step
-
Step 1: a customer job brings the car to you, according to one creator, who also saw jobs labelled easy, medium and hard. Illustration by MechanicLegends.org Accept a job
Pick a customer job. One creator says the job brings the car to you, so you do not have to buy one from the junkyard first. The same creator saw jobs labelled easy, medium and hard. Jobs with more tasks pay more but are harder, so a small job is the easier first try.
-
Step 2: on a big job, the engine block, intake, radiator, transmission and battery can all sit on one five-task list. Illustration by MechanicLegends.org Read the task list
Each job lists the repairs the customer wants. The longest lists players have shown run to five tasks, for example the engine block, intake, radiator, transmission and battery. Read the whole list before you start, so you know which parts to take out.
-
Step 3: clean and polish worn parts first, and order new ones only for scrapped parts. Orders arrive by delivery truck. Illustration by MechanicLegends.org Do the repairs
Drive the car onto the lift in your garage, raise it, open the hood and hold the wrench to see which parts are damaged. Clean and polish rusty or worn parts back to 100% first. One player guide says a scrapped part cannot be polished back, so order a new one from the parts store; it arrives by delivery truck at your garage.
-
Step 4: one player guide talks to the customer and picks Finish job to get paid. Illustration by MechanicLegends.org Hand the car back and get paid
When the repairs are done, one player guide talks to the customer and picks Finish job to get paid. The payment is a set amount for that job. In that video, a job to repair the intake manifold and wiring paid $1,900.
Where people get stuck
You order a new part that could have been saved
Put rusty or worn parts through the ultrasonic cleaner and the part polisher first. They come back to 100%, so the parts store is only needed for scrapped parts.
You buy a new battery for a battery task
A low battery can be taken out, charged on the battery charger in the garage and installed again. Try that before you order a new one.
The repairs are done but you have not been paid
One player guide gets paid by talking to the customer and picking Finish job. If the money has not arrived, go back to the customer and look for that option.
How do customer jobs work in Mechanic Legends?
The Roblox game page lists customer jobs first among the things you do in Mechanic Legends. A job asks you to fix a car that belongs to a customer, and it pays a set amount. Jobs with more tasks pay more but are harder.
One creator says the job brings the car to you, so you can start earning before you buy anything at the junkyard. The same creator saw jobs labelled easy, medium and hard. Both points come from a single video as of the October 29, 2026 update.
The repair itself works like any other repair in the game:
- Drive the car onto the lift in your garage and raise it.
- Open the hood and hold the wrench to see which parts are damaged.
- Take the damaged parts out, fix them and put them back.
The ultrasonic cleaner and the part polisher bring rusty or worn parts back to 100%. A low battery goes on the battery charger and back into the car. One player guide says a scrapped part cannot be polished back, so you order a new one from the parts store. Orders arrive by delivery truck at your garage, and one creator notes the delivery is free while the parts cost Cash.
How much do customer jobs pay?
Players have reported two payouts so far, each from a single video:
- $1,900 for a job to repair the intake manifold and wiring, two tasks, from one player guide.
- 5K for a five-task job, from another creator.
That is a sample of two. It fits the rule that more tasks pay more, but it is not enough to say what an average job pays or how pay changes between easy, medium and hard jobs. We will mark these confirmed once a second video shows the same payout.
Does x2 Job Earnings pay off?
The store sells x2 Job Earnings for 695 Robux as of October 30, 2026. Going by the name, it doubles what a job pays, so each job gives you one extra payment of the same size. Here is how to work out when it pays for itself:
Jobs to break even = Cash that 695 Robux buys ÷ what one job normally pays you
By our calculation from the store prices on October 30, 2026, 695 Robux buys about 401,900 Cash at the best Cash pack rate, or about 301,200 Cash at the smallest. At the best rate, that is about 212 jobs at $1,900 or about 80 jobs at 5K. Both payouts are single reports, so treat these numbers as examples.
Jobs or junkyard flips?
We expect customer jobs to be the safer start, because you do not pay for the car. Junkyard flips can pay more per car once you have the Cash to buy one, since you see its market value and asking price before you pay. Our page on how to make money in Mechanic Legends compares both routes.
